Neither of them looked great to be fair. But this was still only qualifiers, easier track and almost impossible to not qualify. 16 from 20 making the semifinals. So, they were not forced to show everything they can and rather save energy.

For the SF & Final the track will be different and much challeging, it should favor more the technical and skilled paddlers than just the dynamic paddlers

Thats reasonable. Thanks! :yes

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

With 4 penalty seconds. She'd make the final even with two.

Meanwhile on Polish TV they explain the rules of this event again. Like nobody watches or show this sport on Polish TV except the Olympics and the popular memory erasing every four years is a common disease. Somehow Kołomański & Staniszewski got more air time 25 years ago

Luckily it's explained here as well. The final is even shown live in almost it's entire right now, without a Dutch participant :yikes:

Awesome :d

Hey don’t mock, I watch year round & never remember which is a canoe or kayak.

Chourrault :ESP the unwanted distinction of a rare 5-0 in an Olympic final.

I thought this was a canoe.
