Summer Olympic Games 2024 Broadcasters

Recommended Posts

Graphics are very similar to the previous, using what looks to me like the exact same typeface. No complaints from me though, they're nice. Usually it's much more of a redesign than this.

It’s a very smooth start, I remember the broadcasting on day -2 being a terrible mess in Rio, took a while to sort out.  Even in Tokyo the commentaries took a while to fix.

The graphics package does seem to be very similar to Tokyo's. Personally, I loved Tokyo's graphics. I thought it was a very well thought out design. The font choice, colors, and layout is simple yet not boring. It looks like Paris has made some small modifications (Eiffel Tower at the right) to make the graphics iconic for Paris. I do wonder why they replaced the Olympic Rings with "Olympic Games" on the scoreboard. The only change I'm not a fan of.

I am watching on nbcolympics.com and the streaming is working very well.

Will bet that has been focus-grouped and market researched at some point and…..

Language coverage is good - 9 different options for Argentina, 7 for Spain.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
