I'm now reading here that Liao Hui is not/won't be selected because of his previous doping ban...that would be an interesting new rule from the Chinese.

I'm just wondering how trustworthy this is though. I mean, I'm new to Reddit so it's hard to say how serious the weightlifting part there usually is, but it does seem like some decent Chinese news articles are translated there..

imho, if he misses Rio 2016, it's just because something went wrong in their "preliminary internal" tests...basically, he was caught once again (but it will never become official news for the rest of the world, of course)...
