:SRB is a really unserious team, putting in a youth squad for week 3 of VNL, really hoping they don’t medal at the Olympics :cheer::mad::sick:

That would free a spot on the podium but it's unlikely to happen, they have won a medal at every championship since 2015. Boskovic always lives up to the expectations when it matters with the NT, unlike other supposed top players

And it’s official. :facepalm:

Well good fight by :CAN (at least during week 1) but in the end :NED wanted it more.

Why lose hope? By my calculations, even if we lose to Japan and beat France, and the Netherlands beat Serbia and Korea but lose to the USA, it would still likely go down to that Canada vs Netherlands match.

First of all, US has been struggling so I wouldn’t be surprised to see Netherlands upsetting them. Second of all, if that does indeed happen, it would require us to probably beat Netherlands 3-0 (potentially 3-1, depending on sets against the other opponents) and we always play 5-setters against them. Third of all, we’ve been playing horribly the last couple of weeks (especially in our last 2 games against Serbia and Italy), unlike week 1 where our attacking stats were way up (and even in the 4-set loss to Brazil, both teams played really well, Canada just ran out of gas near the end)

We’ll need to be about 1 point behind Netherlands at worst entering each nations final match, as a sweep over France awards more points than South Korea, but I don’t even think it’ll be close at that point.

:SRB take set 3 :yikes::yikes::hyper::surprise::clap:

You can never rely on the :NED volleyball team to perform when it really matters. We have choked so many deciding matches in the past 8 years since the 4th place in Rio, this race is far from over!

Well, Canada is so gonna win the match against Netherlands. We are stuggling against Serbia C, it's embarrassing to see how we lost the third set 25-18 (after 7-2 and 14-14). This Dutch team isn't good enough, it really seems like they don't realize every set counts.

Neither does the Canadian team.
