lol this is the only sport which is more inexistant in SVK than Sailing, I am sure the majority of population of our country never heard about it which is in fact really strange considering all our neighbors CZE, POL, HUN and UKR are very strong in this, anyone to explain this anomaly ? but also in former Czechoslovakia this sport was mainly played in the czech part

It hasn't worked so far....

 

This sport will never grow, it's still too expensive to train a person in all events (you need proper facilities for all 5, which not many countries have) and it gives very few medals, many nations will think it's just not worth the effort/cost.

I have a wonderful idea for Modern Pentathlon. Instead of having random 18 unpredictable horses, every athlete should fight for their 300 points trying to hang on to a mechanical bull the longest
