Day 3 (October 23, 2023)

Another terrible day. Sean McColl fails to podium (and grab the Olympic quota on offer), Kelly Fitzsimmons was in a great position herself to grab one in women’s modern pentathlon but imploded during the laser run, Keven Beauséjour lost his quarterfinal bout in men’s 80kg to a random Argentinian boxer (certainly could’ve medaled with his draw), also managing to go 5-3 in badminton matches (we’re easily the best nation in Pan America, although you could make a case for US)

At least we grabbed a team dressage quota in equestrian :dunno:

I didn't find the day that horrible...the modern pentathlon was certainly disappointing but Canada won 19 medals today....

If Felix does what he normally can do on high bar and improves his pommel horse by next summer , Felix has a legitimate shot at a medal in Paris for the all-around. He would have placed 8th at this years worlds despite a not so good high bar. and with a good high bar he would have placed fourth . If he improves his pommel by 1 point he would have won bronze.

I feel like he’s already a legit medal contender on floor.
