Yes, but we gonna get instead a brand new - and very exciting - mixed event in gymnastics allowing the same athletes winning more medals doing the same thing again ! So, so much better.

If that was an option, definitely. Although personally I also like trampoline, at least it's different than anything else (and relatable for lots of people who have stood on a trampoline at least once in their life), but tumbling certainly beats it

I'd easily replace trampoline, tumbling, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic swimming, dressage an so on with Kyokushinkai Karate

None of them are bad, although the only one I watch is rhythmic gymnastics. If you ask me the current Olympic champions in trampoline and artistic swimming I wouldn't know

But then without the nonsense of 'you get DQ'ed if you knock your opponent out', of course. It's a combat sport, one should be going all-out and not be holding back on purpose
