A news article in ICF shows that they only target 2 gold medals, which doesn't seem to be very ambitious

The ICF had to cancel the last World Championships in Italy due to a lack of participants. Perhaps they need to show more diversity?

Valiant effort from the Swiss girls, kept it within a goal for most of it (Sweden really pulled away at the end)

Edit: Just realized she was at the Paris 2024 Olympics in swimming, I feel like swimming would translate well to life saving but you don’t see that crossover often 

actually, she was in Singapore last week, when she was 14th in the individual 100m freestyle and she did even win the bronze medal in the women's 4*100m medley relay (she swam the last leg, of course) 

 

in terms of pure swimming, she's a class apart in this discipline

I watched all the finals sessions in Singapore, I can’t believe I forgot about that what an idiot I am 

 

Although, even if I had remembered her name from Worlds, I would probably still think this one was a different one or an impostor

UPSET ALERT!!  defeat defending champions  2-0 in the men’s beach handball group stage! 

 

24-22, 25-20 set scores. 
 

Well  look completely out of form, so not too much of an upset but really surprising that they finish the group stage 0-3!
