I had the most memorable and important day of my life last friday, where me and my now wife could celebrate our wedding. We had a small ceremony and then we had an enjoying weekend together.

I lost my mother last week Tuesday. It is literally the most devastating thing to happen to me and tbh I am still in shock/sad.

Not really (not a huge fan of old westerns), but I does of course remind of The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. One of my favorite all time songs comes from that movie. It’s called “The Ecstasy of Gold”. It’s honestly probably one of the best walkout songs of all time too.

Ah yeah, talk about 'national sports' :d Although again, it's not national, but mostly comes from that weird northern province and it's actually called fierljeppen :p

I might, supposedly Frisian is the closet language to English. I can understand a bit of Dutch sometimes too.

      great week for the  crews!    3 wins, 5 medals, a few good placings and Tita / Banti coming back just as good as they were in the Nacra 17, ending up in 4th place only because of a technical fail on their boat (which led them to abandon a race and to a DNS in the following one, when they were comfortably leading the overall standings )   sailing is slowly becoming one of our strongest Olympic sports

      Some participation stats from the LOC/OCA: "A total of 1,635 athletes from all 45 National Olympic Committees of the OCA are taking part in the 6th ABG. This figure comprises 959 male athletes and 676 female athletes. In addition, there are 924 team officials from the 45 NOCs.
