Australians have pretty much denied the possibility of hosting the Olympics and time soon. So, yeah, another one of the "many" possible 2028 hosts is out of the window.

 

Meanwhile, IOC is really considering the joint award of 2024 and 2028 Olympics. I guess they figured out that interest in hosting is disappearing rapidly...
