Madcap contestants are showing off their bizarre styles for a hair-freezing contest in Canada taking place in -20C temperatures.

 

The annual competition is held at the Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs in Yukon and is open until March 25.

 

Participants jump into the waters, formerly known as Takhini Hot Springs, where the temperature is 42C (107F), before sculpting their wet locks into inventive shapes.

Danger eliminated. Odunga fraud was neutralized.  Sincerely hope nobody from here fell into this trap and signed to them

I googled them out of curiousity and got to some Nigerian page on Tripadvisor (regular Tripadvisor site so I wasn't afraid of a virus ) with a photo of some dude and a table absolutely filled with cash, you know, like those typical drug lords

in Slovakia, school final leaving exams have started this week and the authorities revealed interesting informations. In Slovakia you have to pass the final exam in 2 forms, first a written one and then an oral one.From the 37 000 students going to pass their final leaving school exam 1600 of them decided to pass it in Hungarian language (Yes, it is allowed in Slovakia, if you want you can graduate in Hungarian, but you have to do it only in a Hungarian speaking school)

 

apart of that: Students are also required to choose one foreign language for their final exam.

 

and here are the results for this year

 

1) Most often, students chose the English language, almost 35,800 students will graduate from it at all three difficulty levels.

2) The second most picked foreing language was the German language (1,068 students)

3) and 443 students selected the Russian language lol...

4) 14 high school graduates picked French ,

5) four students chose Spanish 

6) and one (1) student chose the Italian language.(Imagine preparing the tests and teacher´s committee for One student)

What are the topics of this exam? I mean, we had an English exam only for English, but not for the other subjects

For the written one: you have to pick one of these

 

-In winter in the countryside (Artistic description)

-Safely on social networks (Interpretation)

-Does it make sense to run for school parliament? (Discussion Post)

 

For the foreign language it is a classic written test which consists of three parts and you have 100 minutes for it:

listening with understanding,

grammar and vocabulary (use of language),

reading comprehension

 

 

The classic graduation exam is then the oral one,

you will draw a question in Slovak Language & Literature (available also in Hungarian language in HUN speaking schools as mentioned above), in Maths (usually only at the lyceum), in Foreign Language and depending of your school also in the main technical stuff (for example in engineering industrial school you have mechanical engineering, in apprentice schools you have your special subject etc...) In every one you draw one from 25 final-exam questions
