[OFF TOPIC] Coronavirus Pandemic

7,681 new cases in New York so far today. I think we should start seeing around 10,000-15,000 cases a day in New York.

3651 new positive tests, 889 deaths and 1434 recovered people...that's today's summary in Italy...

it's confirmed the trend of the last few days...new cases are slightly deacreasing day after day (and percentage is decreasing big time, as many more tests have been performed in the last days), even if we still have a lot of deaths...

It's a good signal. The death is developing from confirmed-mild-severe-death, it takes a long time. These two number don't share the same trend and time line.

3651 is the number of new cases-deaths-recovered people. Very useless number, so 5974 is the number of new cases of the day.

Watching the TV news right now

I forgot to add in the daily update that smoking in public will be punished by a high fine !  A reason ? masks. If you smoke, you must put your mask off which is forbidden.

Can we take over this rule and - just to make sure the virus doesn't come back - keep it in place for the next 75 years?

Is this specifically for fathers only? Or also for women who's partner is giving birth?

    • It's hard to believe it was still in this calendar year
    • In last year, we were were happy with Brignone's wins, and today we're excite that della Mea is in the top 10... It's hard to imagine a bigger fall... And Goggia should give up on the giant slalom and focus on the speed events – Vonn isn't wasting time on the giant slalom, but is training for downhill and SG. Goggia last one finished on the podium in the giant slalom in march 2018, and she has no any chance of winning an Olympic medal at the regular competition. It's a waste of time and energy to finish 8th or 9th and risk injury. And we have to accept that without Brignone, we have no chance of winning a medal in the giant slalom in Cortina, and that's it.
    • yeah, just like Anna Trocker earlier Today   I think this is the best way to blow them    they're not ready for the world cup stage yet, but we're so bad right now that our coaches are digging deep
    • Some surprises and fun results so far at this year's Worlds. Like a few minutes ago, when  Harrysson made the 1/8 with another very good performance. Now he plays Jonny Clayton, who this afternoon made a stellar performance in a tough battle with Zonneveld. I don't see an easy match for Clayton, even though on paper he would have wished such an opponent for a 1/8 before the tournament.   Also i'm delighted that my fav Gary Anderson seems to be in good form, though at his age, he is prone to sudden bad matches at any time.
