I just realized that the 4th place team will play their play-off game against only one week later. That's a bit unfair...

Not really as the group would've had more time to gel as a team compared to  as they'd have played an entire 3 week tournament together. Also a week's rest is a long time in football.

It's a double edge sword. Sure they may get time together and a week rest, but that's after playing six games in 15-17 days with the top players being fully involved in at least the final three games, plus there's a risk of injuries during that time.

Not looking good for Australia.

 

Also a 90+14 goal in the Qatar/Jordan game (btw it was 2-1). Was there a lot of stoppage or were the refs waiting for Qatar to score
