Man Utd is out of UCL Champions league regardless the result of PSG match , what a turnaround in this group , way to go Leipzig :clap:Monchengladach can make it 4/4 for Germany if they succeded not to lose against Real Madrid , BTW leipzig is the 1st German team in UCL to start the match without any German players

Hmm... after a red card in 14th minute? How convenient :p

That red card was for Demba Ba, who was sent off as a substitute:p

1. Romania vs France - 13.02.2020 - The French called us gypsies - nobody said that was racism

2. Irina Begu vs Caroline Garcia - WTA Charleston 2016 - first round - Garcia said "I can't believe a gypsy beat me" - the match continues as nothing happened.

3. CFR Cluj vs Slavia Prague - 20.08.2019 - The Czech fans chanted "Gypsies, gypsies" - the match continues as nothing happened.

4.Napoli vs Steaua Bucharest - 2010 - Italians said that "Romania is a gypsy nation, a nation of shit" - the match was played as nothinh happened.

5.Simona Halep vs Sloane Stephens - 10.06.2010 - The french newspapers said "A romanian won the RG" and they showed an animated pictured with gypsies collecting rust steel - nobody said nothing.

I showed you 5 examples of worse cases than what happened last night and nobody was penalised in those situations.

Last night, the 4th ref of PSG vs Basaksehir, Romanian referree, Sebastian Coltescu, said to the ref, Ovidiu Hategan to show a red card to "this black guy". That black guy was the biggest superstar in football Demba Ba, former Chelsea player, who became a substitute in that unknown Turkish team. This case is exaggerated, let's be honest... Why he was so offended by those words? Isn't obvious that he is black or what? whatever....

demba ba wasn't the one to receive the red card , it was pierre Webo previous star of cameronian team who works as an assistant right now for Istanbul Basakcehir , the Romanian referee referred to him by saying Negru , so the guy went crazy then he said that negru means black in romanian language so Istanbul Players told him that we're in UCL not Romanian league , he could have just said sorry for people that could have been harmed of his words it was really simple

This's the importance of saying no enough is enough if Simona Halep who's the most public figure of Romanian Sport right now and has a very big fan base around the world if she just said publicly that these words annoy her and the whole Romanian Community and that's racist comments then no-one would have dared to say it again this's the importance of saying Stop

The red card received by Pierre Webo has been cancelled by UEFA!
So Istanbul Basaksehir's deputy club will be well on the bench tonight for the resumption of the match.

So Romanian people can't talk to each other in their native language, when they are not in Romania? This seems far more racist, than what the referee said in the game.

Saying stop to what, man? These refs have very big experience at this level so I don't think was something deliberate. The fact they spoke in our language I don't think it's somebody's problem, to be honest. That guy from Cameroon or where he came from has black skin. Where is the racism here? For Coltescu was easiest to show Hategan who must be sent off by telling the colour of his skin. If ref wanted to be racist then he would called him nigga, gypsy or any other thing, not a black guy. Anyway it's a very exaggerated situation. And this is a great oportunity for the Turkish team to be known in the world because at football they are a very big zero.

About Simona's case, the fact that she said that and the fact that nobody reacted or punished Garcia are two different things. I'm speaking here about the fact that others are not punished for really racist words and now all the world wants Coltescu's head.

Good to see former Liverpool legend John Barnes trying to give some wisdom. At least for those who can understand it.

I sincerely love and respect our president, Vladimir Putin. He is the best president in the world. May God grant him strength and good health."   Do they deserve neutral status?
    • I did not think it would happen again but... I created similar post for Paris - 2024 https://totallympics.com/forums/topic/27489-ain-athletes-qualification-for-paris-2024-olympic-games-and-reallocation-of-quotas-post1-updated-1507/#comments  I was not sure if that reallocations would really happen but the reality was even more serious than the expectations. According to this research 43% of the neutral statuses issued by the IFs were fake AIN  - https://razom22.com/neutrality-research/  And the figures are based on the IOC decisions - not on the evaluations by Ukrainian NOC or sport ministry. Right now the situation is absolutely unclear. As usually )) Some notes: 1. Russians will not reject quotas for 2026 as they did for 2024 in judo and wrestling. 2. AINERP may be more loyal to russians due to the new member - Watanabe. His federation issued AIN status to Melnikova who took part in the primaries of the russian ruling party, had phots with Z and e .t.c. 3. I do not expect a lot of reallocations becaues of the total small number of the rus/blr athletes in qualification events right now. 4. BUT, even with these small numbers we see that FIS allowed to compete several incompliant persons.        Short notes from the IOC statement before Paris - 2024:   1. IOC`s decisions to reject quotas are final. 2. IOC`s decisions to approve quotas are not final - new facts may lead to the rejection of invitation. 3. IOC`s decisions cannot be appealed - NOCs were not invited to the Games, so it is a good will to invite individual athletes... or not   russians Sports Athlete(s) Discipline Possible Reallocation NOC IOC Decision + IF reallocation if happened Figure skating Adeliia PETROSIAN Women's singles Stefania Yakovleva Confirmed by IOC Figure skating Petr GUMENNIK Men's singles Davide Lewton Brain Confirmed by IOC belorussians     Sports Athlete(s) Discipline Possible Reallocation NOC IOC Decision + IF reallocation if happened Figure skating Viktoriya SAFONOVA Women's singles Stefania Yakovleva Confirmed by IOC
    • I would say they will not be eligible. But it realy abotut the wording every federation has in its papers. World Aquatics changes their policies several times (especially after Mazepin "solved the issues" persoanlly - as witnessed one russian Olympic champion)   Inoirtnat notes on FIS decisions:   FIS points are frozen for ruissns and belorussians - so the situation is not so complicated for a lot of them. The list of the AIN`s is not final as the list from ISU was. It means that persons mau be not only removed from the list but added as well. I expect russians to try some freestyle applications before the stage in China, for example. FIS has not problems with the deny of visa or entris by the host countries. So they kept the possibility to close the doors for the russians for all the countries as ICF did. No sanctions for this, no removing events from the Olympic qualification list, no host changes,   * * * * * Here is the the relevant extract from FIS papers for Aerials tram event. What do you think?
