what a shame!

the saddest end of the championship we could ever think of

Garozzo is totally boiled

and it's also a brawl between the coaches! :yikes: :roflmao:

by the way, very unsportsmanlike behaviour by :HKG coaches and also very provocative behaviour by Cheung Ka Long on the last hit :redcard: :finger:

Unbelievable, after a very mediocre season the sabre girls get their shit together when it matters the most and they are in the Worlds final again!

Didn't see this medal coming at all.

I must say, before the finals, that Hungarian fencing did well this year at the Worlds. 4 medals and at least 2 gold medals. Couldn't have asked for more. I mean, we had other chances, but I can't demand perfection, even the strongest nations had their disappointments. This is one of our best performance in the past few decades. I can only hope that we can have a similarly good competition one year from now in Paris.

    • Honestly, I don't really like these team sports that only have 6 teams. I understand there's a limit on the number of athletes, but it should be at least 8 per gender.
    • Every year they are incredibly slow to announce the Brazilian flag bearers, Paris 2024 was also slow.
    • To be fair, I think most people don't even know there's an Olympic flag.
