Really disappointed with the performance by Peleteiro so far. Has only managed a 13.67 jump after 5 attempts, but she has one attempt to go, hopefully she can jump 14+ in the last round.

 Doesn't happen, and she finishes in 7th. She was predicted to win gold, so a big hit to Spain's points total.

You are right. Second runner dropped it, third runner picked it up. DQ.

Well, I guess nobody appealed to the jury, but it was definitely a DQ offense. It is just about impossible to pick up a dropped baton legally.
