I'm tired of Fourcade and Boe, eleven wins in twelve races.

Futile most likely, but hope they both fail completely at WC.

Well, World Championships often tend to not benefit the favourites with its extra pressure and other athletes come through with wins.

Great job from dombrovskis,Vytautas wasn t too bad either, i m sure he will do way  better when the next sprint arrives,a bit sad this wasn t a sprint,we would of had too great results, to go for  he pursiut but of course, there is no pursiut here like how there wasn t a pursuit when tomas was 31 and vytautas was 20th in the sprint, instead we have mix relays that won t go anywhere for Lithuania because of the woman,Oh well, there will still be chances.Honestly i think there could be some great results at  the world championships,i agree with werloc,i am worried about tomas, something clearly just isn t right, which sucks because i was expeting the most frrom him after a great first start of season.I m pretty excited about the world championships, and hope everything will work out.

Well, this race was pretty special. IBU posts the three best results of each athlete on their page, so I did a little bit of digging and today lead to:

Debut World cup performance for Patrick Jakob of Austria in 91st

The best ever placement for Tom Lahaye-Goffart of Belgium in 98th

The second best performance for Maksim Varabei of Belarus in 28th

The best ever performance for Jinle Tang of China in 43rd

The second best performance for Estonian youngster Robert Heldna in 106th

The third best performance of Jaakko Ranta of Finland in 80th

The personal best of Fabien Claude from France in 3rd

The personal best result of Philipp Nawrath of Germany in 4th

The best result of Italian youngster Daniele Cappellari in 67th

The best result of Japanese Kazuki Baisho in 95th

Second best performance of Kosuke Ozaki of Japan in 54th

Second best performance from Karol Dombrovski of Lithuania in 33rd

Second best performance of Johannes Dale from Norway in 5th

Second best performance of Eduard Latypov of Russia in 24th

A World Cup debut for Russian Kirill Streltsov in respectable 17th place

Second best performance for Slovenian Rok Trsan in 31st

Third best performance for Slovakian Michal Sima in 50th

Personal best of another Slovakian Simon Bartko in 44th

World Cup debut for Oskar Brandt of Sweden in 104th

Personal best for Ukranian Bogdan Tsymbal in 65th

This race was truly SPECIAL and a lot of men pulled out their best on the track and shooting range to become better than they ever were or peaked at their best.A celebration of Biathlon in Pokljuka  :)

Fabien Claude talks about his missing dad.  What a sad story.

I find it a bit sad that they don't mention it's his first World Cup podium and his first ever race in which he hit all 20 targets. I know that's not the important thing, but it makes his result even more special right after hearing the news the night before.
