Canada's only Olympian in this sport Daniel Gayainsky retired. He was named to the North American Qualifier team. 

 

Haya Jumaa also gave birth recently and obviously didn't compete at the qualifiers. 

 

Arguably two of the best Canada has seen.

Haya Jumaa will compete at the final qualifier for Santiago 2023 later this month. Amazing!

She had a baby last year so might be taking a couple years off
