the Members of JEM-EUSO

DLcO.jpg

JEM-EUSO is a new type of observatory to be attached at the International Space Station or orbiting as a free flyer, based on a UV very large telescope, which uses the whole Earth as detector. It will observe, from an altitude of several hundreds of km, the fluorescence tracks produced at (330-400) nm by Extensive Air Showers (EAS) originated by UHE primaries which traverse the Earth’s atmosphere at ultra-relativistic speed.

    • Some Lithuanian discus results from back home got another men over 60 with Armandas Miliauskas finishing with a new pb of 60.40[he's 24 so i'm not really cheering this a whole lot,but hey he's crossed that barrier now],of course Andrius Gudžius won the comp plenty of fouls as is usual for him early in the season and at home but a 65.77 is a solid opener for someone who had no ramona plans ,it's by a few cm better than what Ceh did at the european throwing cup and actually exactly what janssen threw to win there.
