Looks like Norway could make a comeback to women's gymnastics for the first time since 1992.

Looks like Georgia, Greece and Slovenia are out following the latest subdivision.

 Roxana Popa

Host quota reallocation: 

 

Probable individual qualifiers in upcoming subdivisions are from Turkey, Hungary, Switzerland, New Zealand and Finland. Singapore, Cyprus and Denmark will have a hard time qualifying.

Unless major surprises occur, nations listed from Australia to Chile have secured one quota. Israel, Norway, Peru and Uzbekistan will probably be the last qualifiers, considering the host quota reallocation.

Shouldn't Moreno also be listed here? Or is that only when the event finalist is not also the highest placed AA athlete?

I believe event finalists can only qualify if not previously qualified through the all-around. Since she is the best Mexican gymnast in the all-around competition, she has secured one quota either way. It would have been better for Mexico if they had just dropped Moreno out of the competition after her vault, so they would have secured a second quota.

Sadly, they couldn't do that, as they performed vault for the team's last rotation

 

Anyway, glad to see Moreno back on form after a couple of scares earlier this season.

Oh, right. Document indeed says that athletes qualified in individual AA can't be considered for the apparatus quotas.

Hungary with huge scores. Well deserved. They can realistically upset Japan along with Brazil.

Hungary blew their chances on beam. Unbelievable. Switzerland is also not doing so well. Now only Brazil can qualify a full team.
