This is more of a skier from the lower ranks but there is no sign of someone stronger changing flag. Personally I was counting on Italy bringing someone in because of Kramer's contacts - he worked in Russia for many years. Especially in the women's team, we would be useful for 1-2 strong skiers.

The penalty for changing the license is 1-2 years depending on the federation and whether Russia agrees or not. In the case of Russia and Kazakhstan, these consents are very often given, so such a change is easier.

Figure skater Aleksandr Korovin recently took his oath as a naturalised citizen of the Philippines. He will compete with Isabella Gamez in the pairs event at the upcoming Asian Winter Games.

According to president of Russian tennis federation, many more Russians will start to compete for other nations.
