In some respect yes, but as I wrote in my article, he was a very talented para-rower. He’d been to multiple world championships and had been rowing for years. It was honestly just a tragic accident. The Thai teams were still definitely affected by that though.

Didnt know that he was so good. But with water and some kind of dissability there is always strong chance for some tragic incident.

But in Thai case, they are probably absolutely inept, as you presumed.

In the Olympic Events or generally?

I am expecting 4 Golds in Olympic events here ...

:p

Men's single sculls, men's eight, men's lightweight double sculls, women's quadruple sculls.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Sorry. Totally missed it.

I do agree that we could win medals in all four of these events. But I don't believe it will be gold medals in all of them.

Today we'll know the first Olympic qualifiers in Rowing. The semi-final winners in the Women's quadruple sculls will make it directly to the A-final. And since there are 8 qualifiers in quadruple sculls, all A-finalists (and two B-finalists) will qualify for Tokyo.

NZ men's rowing is probably the weakest it has ever been and I can only see minor medals for a few crews. On the flip side the women are probably the strongest it has ever been.
