Outside of rugby sevens this is the best chance for a non-Australia/New Zealand nation to qualify in a team sport. It's something like 1% (or New Zealand fielding an ineligible player), but there's a chance.

Today, New Zealand beat Fiji 3-1. New Zealand also beat Papua New Guinea by forfeit 3-0.

Hopefully the Solomon Islands can finally rise above their futsal prowess and kick out NZ.

I would like, why Australia does not represent Oceania in all team sports, it is once again a ticket given to New Zealand
