Serbia and Scotland were supposed to play a match for first place in qualifications for U19 EC (women's football), but apparently the players from :SCO were drunk day before and they were not able to play match yesterday (I saw this is Serbian medias):facepalm:and match are suspended (they said that players are sick and they are not able to play). UEFA launched an investigation.

wow! just wow!

Nemanja Matic

Respect. The guy didn´t forget and showed a extreme class act, he heard that his former club from my city Košice is in huge financial troubles and he decided to help. No one asked or contacted him with any favor, he just decided after he heard somewhere about the problems and immediately he send money! and helped the whole club to remain in our second division and the players will again be able to play in our stadium in Košice, after they were kicked out of the stadium last season because of enormous debt. they had to play home matches in a near village :cry:

Huge class act.! Nemanja is a true hero !

well not so strange for him. He did the same for one Serbian club (from his hometown) before few months. He said it was his duty

He was an ex-Benfica player, and he was really loved there (because he was a great player, and because they sold him to Chelsea by 25 Million euro :p)

Yes, :POR women's team reach two time the playoff and lose (the opponents was too strong):

Q. 2001 lost against Italy

Q. 1997 lost against Denmark

This is a big chance for first qualifying at EURO women's (enlarged at 16 teams) for both teams

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.

    • That's so they can play in both venues in Canada.  Will mean that the UEFA Path A winner has to go from Toronto to Los Angeles and then up to Seattle.   Someone was bound to draw the short straw in that group since 4 of the matches are Central, but 2 are in Santa Clara.  Unfortunately, that's Algeria.
