Men's Basketball NBA 2019 - 2020

Raptors rejected a trade for George & Westbrook in exchange for Siakam. Sigh. If that happened Kawhi would have stayed in the North.

Instead Jerry West pulls off the move of free agency. Draft picks are way overrated in the modern NBA. This is a power move Clippers had to make in order to finally trigger a proper battle of Los Angeles.

Next season will be huge. Obvious losers of FA are OKC, Raptors & Celtics.

edit: and the Knicks remain the laughing stock as usual in the last 20 years

Another big trade is happening Russel Westbrook is going to Houston for CP and other draft picks , that was James Harden desire ofc , but i'm not really sure if the 2 can work something together

They really put a 'San Francisco Warriors' logo in the new arena? Pressed much? :finger:

Stephen Curry is out indefinitely with a broken hand so Warriors' playoff hopes are basically done IMO. They were like 7th best team in West even with Curry.

The 2020 NBA All-Star starters were nominated.

There are three rookies: Doncic, Siakam and Trae Young.

Doncic???

None of them are rookies, though it is their first time to be in the All-Star game.

I'm guessing our Uruguayan friend meant 'All-Star rookies' :p

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
