Anyone have a link to the entry lists?

go there https://isasurf.org/event/2023-surf-city-el-salvador-isa-world-surfing-games/?team-id=1338

click on the country flag, and you will see the participants of each one.

Continental qualification for all continents besides Americas, but this event will qualify some surfers to Panamerican Games as well

As a reminder, the continental quotas will only be awarded if the athlete finishes in the top 30. If they do not it will go to the highest ranked eligible athlete regardless of continent.

To be eligible for the universality quota eligible athletes must finish in the top 50 at the 2023 or 2024 games.

Who would everyone say is the favourite for each quota, particularly the European ones? Not too sure on the Men's (hoping it's :GBR Luke Dillon) but on the Women's it surely has to be :ISR Noa Leilor.

Here are the tripartite eligible nations competing (assuming the rules for eligibility remain the same)

Men - :AFG :ASA :ESA :GUM :MDV :NCA :ISV

Women - :ASA :ESA :GUM :NCA

It's a huge chance for :ESA and :NCA to get a quota here. I believe El Salvador may take it at men's side, while the Nicaraguan sister are the favorites at women's side (For some reason, only Candelaria is competing for Nicaragua)

Oceania - :AUS would be the biggest favorite here, but they are ineligible for these quotas, once they won't have any troubles to get all quotas through WSL. They didn't even bring their best surfers, right now, to this competition. In this case, :NZL becomes the main country for both quotas. We may have a surprise with :ASA, but it'd be a real surprise, imo.

Asia - :JPN and :INA are the huge favorite here, I can't see any other country beating them here in normal conditions. Japan, for instance, is bringing its strongest team at women's side. :PHI and :MDV may have a small chance.

Africa - :RSA is by far the huge favorite at both sides. However, they will likely take two quotas at WSL Ranking, on the men's side. It makes them ineligible for these quotas and opens a way for other Afican male surfers. :MAR Ramzi Boukhiam may be starving to get it, once he couldn't compete at this year WCT. :SEN also may be a surprise.

Europe - Always the most difficult to predict. :GER:GBR:FRA:ISR:ESP:ITA:NED and :POR are the main favorites here. It's quite hard to say who will be the qualifieds, because it depends on many factors.

Europe is always quite hard as bar the 1 or 2 outstanding :ITA:FRA and :POR, who tend to normally qualify, there's no real obvious standout name. That applies to both genders too.
