[OFF TOPIC] Movies & TV Series Thread

So, Grey Worm wanted Jon dead, but accepted him going to Castle Black, while in the same time North declares independency from the 7 Kingdoms, so Jon can basically visit Winterfell any time he wants.  Why did all the other lords accept a crippled boy to be their king, when they don't know anything about him? They barely explained anything.

It's worse than that, why Jon wasn't killed as soon as they saw he killed their queen??? Grey worm had lost everything dear to him at that point and was esentially in charge of the kingdom but he still waited for a trial? lol

And wasn't Bran saying that he is not a lord of Winterfell and that he cannot be lord of anything, and yet - why do we think he came all the way down to King's Landing

And that plastic bottle of water at the Dragon's Pit :d

Almost nothing makes sense except for Sansa getting independence for the North. Dialogues are comical. That meeting of the remaining high lords is laughable. Really disappointed with the way story is closed. I hope GRRM really finishes the books before he, you know...

Exactly! The meeting is laughable and this is the final nail in the coffin of this series. It's like they had no other options: Jon was back to the Nightwatch, Arya decided to go away (maybe because they want to create a spin-off show about her, so of course she could not be the queen), Sansa ended up as the queen of the North, Robb is long dead, so... only Bran remains and they gave him the most important position in the end even though he did nothing the whole show.

Yeah this is only thing I really find wrong with the episode

The point is that someone who doesn’t want to be king should be king because they won’t become corrupt like the last ones.

Finally watched the last Game of Thrones episode :d

Spoiler

Once again, pretty awesome. Drogon melting that piece of crap throne to bits  Not much surprise though, Jon killing Daenerys was pretty obvious, Sansa as queen in the North was even more obvious and Arya going west of Westeros has basically been a sure thing ever since she told Lady Crane she'd go west of Westeros :p

The only thing I found annoying is boooooring Bran as king, but alright, it makes more sense than anyone from yet another house (which Bran isn't, at least not as much as a regular person) and it was better than Samwell's idea. Once all the seriousness was done with, I enjoyed Bronn's insistence on rebuilding the brothels

    • I am assuming the FIS will fight very hard to keep it.   From a substainability standpoint it also really doesn’t make that much sense to axe Nordic combined as long as ski jumping is in the games anyway. For the same reason that all three sliding sports are basically a package that will live and die together.

    • First event at the World juniors (team events) had 6 nations win medals.
    • I hope they keep it. Even though the sport doesn't exist in Slovakia at all, it's still very exciting to watch.
    • will miss this stage because of the Middle East war, since the flights with Qatar Airways have been cancelled and can't be replaced in time (especially for the bicycles)
