In Singles the first 3 get a Olympic quota?

What happens if one of those 3 ( or maybe all) later qualify with the team, how is the reallocation done?

According the Qualification Document, the reallocation works like this for Continental tournaments. (I believe European Games is one):

1. Continental Qualification Tournament (Teams/Singles/Mixed Doubles) Any unused quota places obtained at the Continental Qualification Tournaments will be reallocated to the next best-placed eligible team / athlete of the same gender or mixed doubles pair, not yet qualified, from the respective Continental Qualification Tournament. If the continental quotas are not filled by 15th May 2020, the remaining quota places will be reallocated to the next best-ranked eligible athlete of the same gender or mixed double pair of the same continent on the ITTF Olympic Teams/Singles/Mixed Doubles Ranking list of May 2020.

@prso1000

Edit: Of course quotas for the singles could be reallocated to the European Qualification Event in Moscow in April. 3 quotas are availble at the moment and maybe the unused quotas from the European games are added. But to be clear, I'm not sure about this part.

You should have listened to our podcast "Today in Minsk" from Day 1 ;)  The singles quota which will be won by the later qualified team member will be redistributed at the other European Qualification Tournament, which will be held in April 2020 in Moscow.

Doesn't it say that the quota is getting reallocated to the next best athlete in the respective event?

It was clarified by the ETTU that only the medalists will be eligible for the quotas, any extra will be added to the Moscow event.

It made sense since there was a possibility that "5th place" would get the quota (though I guess they could have followed archery's lead and said only the top 4 were eligible).

I'm not sure how exactly the singles quota won at the Pan American Games will work should the nation also win the team quota at the North/Latin America qualifier. Will it go to the silver medalist or will it go to the second qualification tournament?

    • (Quiet gaming, zero social pressure, no calls, no KYC… just peace.) As someone who’s definitely on the introverted side, I’ve always hated anything that feels intrusive — long registrations, support calls, verification uploads, or sites that spam you into interacting. So over the past year, I tested a bunch of crypto casinos specifically to see which ones are introvert-friendly: ✔ no forced KYC ✔ fast payouts (so no long back-and-forth with support) ✔ clean, quiet UI ✔ no pop-ups and no social pressure ✔ easy deposits ✔ minimal interaction needed Below is what actually worked for me. ⭐ My Top Crypto Casinos for Introverts (Real Testing Results) Casino Why It’s Introvert-Friendly Speed Link JackBit Quiet UI, no KYC, instant payouts 7 min 👉 Play at JackBit BetWhale Low-pressure bonuses, simple layout 14 min 👉 Play at BetWhale BitStarz Fast cashouts, no forced conversations 9 min 👉 Play at BitStarz ThunderPick Clean minimalist design 18 min 👉 Play on ThunderPick 7Bit Casino Extremely chill, no notifications 22 min 👉 Play at 7Bit 1. JackBit – The Most Comfortable Casino for Quiet Players If you’re introverted like me, JackBit is basically perfect. No popups, no aggressive promos, no forced messages — just a clean interface and silent, fast gameplay. BetWhale – Best for Quiet Bonus Hunters BetWhale surprised me — their bonuses are generous without requiring chats, emails, or ID checks. Why it works for introverts: Wagering progress updates silently No pushy pop-ups The whole site feels “low-pressure” Support never contacts you unless you message first It’s a very low-interaction platform.   👉 Play at BetWhale (Smooth & Simple) 3. BitStarz – Fast Payouts Means Less Interaction BitStarz is great if you want to deposit, play, withdraw and leave — quick and efficient, no conversations needed. What I like: Withdrawals are some of the fastest online No random KYC prompts if you use crypto Very stable gameplay (no need to contact support) A calm, mature-feeling interface Perfect for players who like things to “just work.”   👉 Play at BitStarz (Quick & Quiet Gaming) 4. ThunderPick – Best for Introverts Who Like Betting Too ThunderPick has one of the smoothest, cleanest interfaces I’ve used. Everything is intuitive and visually quiet — no clutter, no noise. Introvert-friendly perks: Great for casual betting without chat rooms Mobile interface is extremely calm No forced community features You can switch between casino & sports without talking to anyone     👉 Play on ThunderPick (Minimalist Interface) 5. 7Bit – The Chillest, Quietest Crypto Casino 7Bit feels like a casino designed for people who want to be left alone. Why I recommend it: No aggressive marketing No forced KYC unless you use fiat Huge game library with silent browsing Simple cashier with no need for support interactions It’s a very relaxed environment.   👉 Play at 7Bit (Totally Low-Pressure) Final Thoughts — The Introvert’s Casino Shortlist If you want a quiet, private gaming experience without feeling watched, talked to, or pressured: 🏆 Best Overall for Introverts: JackBit 🏆 Best Quiet Bonus Experience: BetWhale 🏆 Fastest Stress-Free Payouts: BitStarz 🏆 Best Minimalist UI: ThunderPick 🏆 Most Chill Game Library: 7Bit
    • It's not a coincidence that a lot of the matches that are earlier in the day are in Atlanta and Houston and Dallas where they have roofs.  And most of the games in the outdoor stadiums are later in the day.
    • The best athletes will all be there anyway – it's easier to get a spot in the top 10-15. Only the great champions were ahead of Gismondi today.
    • They are not "oppressed enough" to be mention here.
    • And remember the Olympic Paradox - it is slightly easier to get a medal at the Olympics than at a World Cup because in the Olympics the numbers of racers from the powerful nations are capped at 4.
    • Jimmy Mariano  basketball. 84 years old.   Member of the Philippine men’s basketball team at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Flag bearer for the Philippine delegation at those Games.
    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
    • The last day was a great success, for first. Secondly, even 20 medals are fewer than the 22 from 2023 and 34 from 2021
