TeamGB 187 Posted February 25 #151 Share Posted February 25 Cornelius Kersten returns to action in the speed skating world cup in Herenveen this weekend. From what I understand, he can qualify for the world championships in a few weeks if he skates a fast enough time, currently 1:08.04 for the 1000m and 1:45.24 for the 1500m, although this would lower is other unqualified skaters meet those times. Whilst his PB's are both under that his form is a bit unknown, and Herenveen isn't the fastest track. Elia Smeding is also competing but hasn't really shown enough form this season for being in the hunt for qualifying. Both will be racing in the B-Division I presume so no live streaming. Grassmarket 3,611 Posted March 14 Author #152 Share Posted March 14 So much success we are unable to keep up, but at the US Cross Country NCAAs last weekend Joe Davies got a Second in Classic & a huge win in Freestyle. And today in the World Cup Ski Slopestyle in Tignes, Kirsty Muir came back from a long injury for a win! And Mia Brookes won the Snowboard Park & Pipe overall after a cancellation today. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cp3y2n99jqgo Link to comment https://totallympics.com/forums/topic/16492-brits-in-winter-action/page/16/#findComment-684520 Share on other sites

Grassmarket 3,611 Posted March 21 Author #155 Share Posted March 21 (edited) Good news from the Curling. had an up & down week, but eventually got to 7 wins and 5 losses, which is enough for a play-off place against tomorrow AND an auto Q for the Olympics for Team Think they are the first official qualifiers.
