Same here for Brazil.

I wonder when will smaller teams (as well as with other less popular sports) eventually understand that regularly posting and informing their fans on what's going on is eventually going to lead them to more people being interested?

At the end of the day, people wanna know shit. For example, I used to write my LLAF buddies or athletes that I know to find out when athletics competitions are starting in my hometown. Eventually, they're becoming better at that, but it only helps the people that are actively looking. The problem of empty stands during competitions is actually reaching the people that are not interested and to make them interested. Playing "Guess your World Championships team" is not a game that many people want to play, but our biathlon page is updated once a year it seems, because in the active athlete section we have retired ones and those that came back out of retirement are nowhere to be seen :d

Brazil does, although they mostly focus like madmen on their Olympians and kinda pretend the rest doesn't exist.

All Mixed Relay start lists are now up on the IBU Datacenter.

France has  - Chevalier/Simon/Desthieux/Fourcade

Germnay has - Hinz/Dahlmeier/Peiffer/Doll

Norway has - Roeiseland/Eckhoff/Boe/Christiansen

Italy has - Vittozzi/Wierer/Hofer/Windish

Those are some really strong teams!

Of course i hope that Germnay wins the gold medal, but Norway should be the clear favorite. I wonder why Preuß wont compete instead of Hinz, hopefully she isnt ill again.

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

Hinz is the mentally toughest, according to German coaches I overheard during lunch in Arber :p

If Preuss is out because of illness I'm throwing my laptop out of the window (not literally) :(

Realistic expectations for US.

Individual races, not just the 20k/15k a top 15 would be awesome.  In the team events, a top ten would be great.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
