Congrats Spain, best team all tournament :)

On a very important note though, football needs to find a new anthem to replace Freed From Desire already :d

I still remember when "Seven Nation Army" used to be the anthem. And La Copa de la Vida which was way better :p

and this is because of 2 reasons:

1. Because of their youth football development (they have 9 medals in euro-21 from 90s to today, far ahead from any other team)
2. They developed the best national championship from 2000s and beyond

Exactly, although after 2010 looking at the Uefa Ranking, the Premier League was more often in 1st place. Certainly mainly thanks to money, because in Spain only Real Madrid and, to a certain point, Barcelona had very high budgets.

Enhorabuena España!!! The best in Europe and one of the best teams in the world!! So well deserved this win.

and I don’t mind to see England in the final every euro if it means we’ll watch them loose the trophy every time.

it is NOT coming home!!!

Objectively speaking, only Spain and Germany were in top form here and it was a premature finale. France and England - the strongest on paper, literally crawled to the next rounds - England could have been eliminated in the 1/8 finals by Slovakia. Only individualities kept them going. I will not say anything about Italy, because we had no form, no individuality and even no the will to fight and looking at the summer mercato, most of the leading clubs are looking for foreigners again :hairpull: It's sad to see this fall of Calcio :(

Seven players (Unai Simón, Marc Cucurella, Martín Zubimendi, Mikel Merino, Mikel Oyarzabal, Pedri and Dani Olmo) were part of the team that won the silver medal 3 years ago in Tokyo. And fun fact, Oyarzabal scored in both finals.

This year Fermín López and Álex Baena will join the team in Paris. They have not played much in EURO so they won't be very tired for the Olympics.

How the hell is Lamine Yamal not in the olympics? did Barcelona not let him do both?

He wanted to focus on Euro only:
