Overall, all of Old Europe is poorly here: France - 0 medals, Germany - 0 medals, Italy - 1 bronze, Hungary - 1 bronze. For many years the fencing authorities' policy has been to give greater support to Asia and other new emergent countries: Africa, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Georgia, etc., and perhaps that's where Europe's crisis? Additionally Russia has returned and is immediately very strong. -

and the bronze medal has gone, too won 45-44 -

How are they going to decide who the 18 teams are for next year's championship? I see world 'C' events on the calendar already so some decisions have probably already been made. -
qualified to both of Today's Gold Medal games and beat in both tournaments in their way through to the final the disappointing campaign of the young sabre continues (even if the boys are now playing for bronze against )

Pan Qimiao is a beast. Hungary was defeating China 40-34 in the Junior Women’s Sabre SF and Qimiao won the last round with a 11-4 comeback to win it 45-44 -
