Sigualda saw a very, very rare occurrence of a sled flying off course this weekend.

Luckily nobody got injured.

I asked ChatGPT (the infamous AI that's been all over the internet recently) if an athlete can realistically combine singles and doubles luge, to see what it comes up with :p

  Quote

It could be challenging for an athlete to compete at a high level in both singles and doubles luge.

The two disciplines require different techniques, strategies and physical skill sets. Singles luge is a solo event where the athlete lies on their back and steers the sled with their calf muscles, while doubles luge is a team event where the athletes lie on their stomachs and steer the sled using their shoulders. The doubles sled is also heavier and longer than the singles sled.

Who knew that doubles luge is an event where the athletes lie on their stomachs, I want to watch that. Doubles skeleton! :d

Why is the men's singles 2nd run and the relay not on FIL's channel? :hairpull:

Edit: Hurray for CBC and the existence of VPN's :p
