:FIN Finland  8 - 6  Slovakia :SVK

Highlights

Wasn't this a really good performance by Slovakia? The odds for Finland not to win in regular time were 20+ and bookmakers were expecting 11-12 points margin instead of only 2 :yikes:

2 years ago we lost to :FIN in quarterfinals by 2 goals only as well.

However this is probably the weakest :FIN floorball team in history, keep in mind they already lost to :SUI in the Group stage, which resulted in the fact FIN has to face :SWE already in the semifinals, so after some gazillion of years this time we will not have the usual SWE-FIN final

but yes, good and satisfying perf from our girls, the goal was 5th place and we are still in the fight for it, just pitty the difference is too big between the likes of :SWE and :CZE and the rest of the world fighting for the maximum they can achieve - the 5th place

If the women are playing in the World Games this time around (still haven’t seen anything to confirm that) 5th place would most likely be the last ticket to the tournament. @hckosice :SVK most likely needs that 5th place of there is to be a women’s tournament in Birmingham.
