Both weren't great

BMX was time trial so nothing much interesting actually.

Better than nothing, which I’ll gladly take any day. The aerobic stream was fine. Unfortunately, I missed the first few athletes.

So in the news, there are two Malaysian rhythmic gymnasts who both awarded the gold because they scored the exact same score but with different E-score. The technical delegate then changed the result and relegated the other one to silver position, as per FIG rules. But the handbook doesn't mention such tie-breaker and Malaysia protested the decision.

They've reinstated the gold medal after the Malaysians appealed to the organizing committee.

And now also that women's breaking medals (at least in the web).

But three sets of canoeing medals are still not showing

Man, this is confusing

So there is a technical delegate, one can assume to make sure FIG rules are followed, and then FIG rules are specifically not followed?

It looks like the organisers changed their minds and decided to make women’s breaking a medal event even though there were only two athletes entered. Same with water polo for women. Initially, they weren’t going to award bronze medals because there were only three teams entered but now the official website shows the bronze medals awarded to the Philippines.

Canoeing. I’m confused with what’s showing on the official website as well. It seems like there were six events held instead of seven. Looks like the kayak singles got cancelled.

I think what happened is that the technical handbook included rules to break ties during the qualification stage. But there were no rules about breaking ties during the finals. So the Malaysians had a reason to feel aggrieved

    • (Quiet gaming, zero social pressure, no calls, no KYC… just peace.) As someone who’s definitely on the introverted side, I’ve always hated anything that feels intrusive — long registrations, support calls, verification uploads, or sites that spam you into interacting. So over the past year, I tested a bunch of crypto casinos specifically to see which ones are introvert-friendly: ✔ no forced KYC ✔ fast payouts (so no long back-and-forth with support) ✔ clean, quiet UI ✔ no pop-ups and no social pressure ✔ easy deposits ✔ minimal interaction needed Below is what actually worked for me. ⭐ My Top Crypto Casinos for Introverts (Real Testing Results) Casino Why It’s Introvert-Friendly Speed Link JackBit Quiet UI, no KYC, instant payouts 7 min 👉 Play at JackBit BetWhale Low-pressure bonuses, simple layout 14 min 👉 Play at BetWhale BitStarz Fast cashouts, no forced conversations 9 min 👉 Play at BitStarz ThunderPick Clean minimalist design 18 min 👉 Play on ThunderPick 7Bit Casino Extremely chill, no notifications 22 min 👉 Play at 7Bit 1. Why it works for introverts: Wagering progress updates silently No pushy pop-ups The whole site feels “low-pressure” Support never contacts you unless you message first It’s a very low-interaction platform.   👉 Play at BetWhale (Smooth & Simple) 3. BitStarz – Fast Payouts Means Less Interaction BitStarz is great if you want to deposit, play, withdraw and leave — quick and efficient, no conversations needed. What I like: Withdrawals are some of the fastest online No random KYC prompts if you use crypto Very stable gameplay (no need to contact support) A calm, mature-feeling interface Perfect for players who like things to “just work.”   👉 Play at BitStarz (Quick & Quiet Gaming) 4. • It's not a coincidence that a lot of the matches that are earlier in the day are in Atlanta and Houston and Dallas where they have roofs.  And most of the games in the outdoor stadiums are later in the day.
    • The best athletes will all be there anyway – it's easier to get a spot in the top 10-15. Only the great champions were ahead of Gismondi today.
    • They are not "oppressed enough" to be mention here.
    • And remember the Olympic Paradox - it is slightly easier to get a medal at the Olympics than at a World Cup because in the Olympics the numbers of racers from the powerful nations are capped at 4.
    • Jimmy Mariano  basketball. 84 years old.   Member of the Philippine men’s basketball team at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Flag bearer for the Philippine delegation at those Games.
    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
    • The last day was a great success, for first. Secondly, even 20 medals are fewer than the 22 from 2023 and 34 from 2021
