First Ever World Championship Medal for :AND in any Olympic discipline.

History has been written - July 31st, 2021. Just sadly, that it had to happen in the most stupid and idiotic sport competition ever invented by the humanity :d

I still can't believe this shit is going to be an Olympic event.

I'd really like to know who thought in his/her sick mind that could be a serious event worth a place on the international scene...even more, an Olympic event..

from thrilling and amazing races in C2 we had until Rio 2016 to the completely idiotic and chaotic Extreme Kayak people will watch in absolute disbelief since Paris 2024.

What a journey this was for this sport, from absolute fantasy to deepest shit :p

I've always known you're a time traveler.

:p

But, seriously, I'm not even mad that the Brazilian finished fourth here. A medal for Andorra in a senior world championships, and one that will be an Olympic discipline? Seriously, hell has frozen over!

    • Medalists Gold-  Team Schwaller (Xenia Schwaller, Selina Gafner, Fabienne Rieder, Selina Rychiger) Silver-  Team Einarson (Kerri Einarson, Val Sweeting, Shannon Birchard, Karlee Burgess, Krysten Karwacki) Bronze-  Team Wråna (Isabella Wråna, Almida de Val, Maria Larsson, Linda Stenlund, Moa Dryburgh)
    • some changes in the team and less importance to the sport, the two big teams until 2022/2023 ( and ) in south america started to decrease a lot and in the other hand the 3rd in South America () is growing a lot, is really impressive. We are currently the favourites for the LA2028 quota
    • Last few weeks of the World Cup season for winter sports (and Junior Worlds, depending on streaming), Men's Curling Worlds, Saquarema Elite 16, and some tennis   That's it unless I'm missing something, not much going on    Which is a good thing honestly, very busy next couple of weeks.
    • What happened to Brazil's women's team? On the other hand it looks like Argentina may be the top South American team on the women's side. Defeating Spain, China and South Africa was unlikely up until this year
    • These are the teams I think will qualify for the WC this window:           Hoping for some debutants to qualify!
    • defeats  7-5 for gold, Schwaller goes from junior world champions to world champions only two years later   win bronze 8-5 over
    • Honestly, it’s not very clear what is happening in Italy — anything could happen. There is extremely high turnout, and no pollster, politician, or newspaper had predicted it; now they’re all there throwing out data. No one has any idea why people voted, also because it was very technical and almost empty polling stations were expected. It will be interesting to understand whether this is a protest vote against the government or a protest vote against the judiciary.
