Most of French homes don't have AC though, so it's hard to bear these temperatures. I heard that several people died already because of this week's heatwave :( (it was way worse in 2003 though, with more than 15,000 deaths...)

Yeah the homes where I live are much newer, and we have indoor centers where people can stay for the day.

Last night, there was a heavy storm that buried the southern part of Guadalajara Metropolitan in 1.5 m of hail :yikes:

 

Thankfully, no casualties or severe injuries were reported.

It's a miracle there were no casualties.
