Sarah Pavan/Molly McBain through to the semifinals at the BPT Challenge in Chiang Mai, Thailand! First time into the medal rounds for this partnership!

And it’s also a first ever medal, as Sarah Pavan/Molly McBain defeat China’s Fang Wang/Jie Dong 2-1 in the bronze medal match!

Sarah Pavan/Molly McBain, and Sam Schachter/Dan Dearing each win silver at the NORCECA Finals. Sarah and Molly faced an American duo in the final (in terms of the NORCECA Olympic Qualifier, won’t be an issue, as United States will qualify two pairs through World Ranking), while Sam and Dan lost in straight sets to Diaz/Alayo after having a 14-9 lead in set one.

Of note, during this event, Sam and Dan beat Partain/Benesh (WR #5) in straight sets in the semifinals, which is an excellent result for them.
