Gurindervir Singh shattered the men’s 60m national record, the 25-year-old sprinter clocked 6.60 seconds at the national indoor athletics championships. He also bettered the previous national record of 6.67s, set by Elakkiyadasan Kanadasan in Tehran in 2018.

Tejaswin Shankar improves his decathlon tally to 7947 to register best ever Indian score in the event, needs to be seen whether it would be ratified by WA since there were events with wind limit exceeding.

Do you think he has realistic chance of qualification for LA2028?
