Swewi 300 Posted February 9, 2023 #61 Share Posted February 9, 2023 Edin and Hasselborg won the swedish nationals the past weekend. My team choked in the semi final and ended up with the bronze. Hasselborg will play Wranå for who to represent Sweden in the WCH in a best of 7 play off next weekend. Monzanator

Josh 5,724 Posted February 26, 2023 #68 Share Posted February 26, 2023 (edited) 2023 Scotties Update! Team Einarson for the win! 9-4 victory over Nova Scotia’s Team Black. Keeps their hopes alive for a fourth consecutive title. An excellent tournament for the Dartmouth foursome of Team Black. Despite the loss they have so much to be proud of. They defeated Team Lawes 7-6 during the tiebreakers, but not only that, they also defeated Team Homan 7-6 during their first playoff game (Coincidentally Black won both of those games with extra end steals). Team Black wasn’t even one of the favourites headed into the tournament, so it’s a pretty good result. Team Black PCT- 73% Shelley Barker- 89% Karlee Everist- 66% Jennifer Baxter- 68% Christina Black- 69% Team Einarson PCT- 88% Briane Harris- 93% Shannon Birchard- 78% Val Sweeting- 86% Kerri Einarson- 96% Einarson will await the loser of Northern Ontario (Team McCarville) v. Manitoba (Team Jones) in the semi-finals. Full Results Here Edited February 27, 2023 by Josh
