The World Men’s Curling Championship 2023 will be hosted in Ottawa, Canada from 1-9 April 2023 at the TD Place Arena.

Calgary  will host the first ever Pan Continental Championships. B division teams will be announced later

 

Men:  Canada, United States, Brazil, Korea, Japan, China, Chinese Taipei and New Zealand

Women: Canada, United States, Brazil, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Australia

Curling season back underway on YT - WCT TV has the Adelboden International & Curling Canada also has a U-25 meet.

I believe this is the first ever tournament for   ,   and  , with  having only competed in mixed doubles before.

All I can say is wow! The growth of curling has been crazy

It’s just starting today.

Yup.

 

Kenya defeats Nigeria in all African match-up. Perhaps Kenyas first ever win at a WCF event.

 

India also upsets Kazakhstan and Guyana trashed Saudi Arabia.

What a cool moment for the sport. It really showcases the degree of development the sport has seen in the last decade.
