Taftian ended up running 10.05 in the semifinal with -0.2 wind and 10.02 (NR) in the final with 1.7 m/s wind.

still a NR after all with just 0.01

 

on other hand, our women's 100m NR was broken by a huge margin from 11.44 to 11.12 !!  quite an achievement for Fasihi (also winning the silver medal) considering the situation for women in Iran.

it sucks when you outscore your opponent 43-24 in 3 rounds yet the ref finds a way to disqualify you.

 

with new rules they give too much power to the center ref and he/she can simply disqualify you no matter what you try.
