Dominating performance by :EGY Egypt and :JOR Jordan, with :RUS Russia also getting many medals (especially in the U-14 division) and :UKR Ukraine being a powerhouse in the women's Cadet division...

for :ITA Italy, very good results in the women's Junior Kumite lighter weights and in all the Kata events, as usual...

as always happens in Karate, however, a lot of Nations are on the final medal table...

this week in general was tragic for our Karate, Fatemeh Chalaki , two times Asian Games bronze medalist and multiple times Premiere League medalists had another serious car accident and she will most probably lose one of her eyes  we won't see her on Tatami anymore.

Does anyone know why Dimitrova competes for :DOM, instead of :BUL?

She moved to :DOM at age 6 with her family.

Oh, not the answer I expected. So she’s a true :DOM competitor then? That’s awesome.

    • Yes, that's Haaland's cousin Braut Brunes. If he has a bad day Raków is usually scrapping for 1-0 victory unless they concede a goal. Ivi Lopez is the playmaker but he's not as sharp since an injury last season.   Lech & Jagiellonia are the two strongest clubs right now, Raków probably #3. I discount league surprises and of course Legia which is stuck in relegation zone
    • On transfermarkt, Raków is worth 42 million euros and Jagiellonia only 32, but it is known that this is only a theory. On paper, the most valuable clubs in Poland are Lech and Raków: €42 million each. Raków have a strong Norwegian attacker from what I can see on internet.
    • Fiorentina gets another  club Raków Czestochowa in R16     Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.
    • Fiorentina must play seriously from the first match, becous they played with a reserve squad in both matches against Jagiellonia, with the exception of extra time in the second. Unfortunately, Fiorentina are still close to the relegation zone in Serie A, which explains the staff decisions in the Conference League. It they advance further, they will probably play against Crystal Palace in 1/4 final.
