As my Belgian colleague said today: "In the end of the match I wasn't sure if I was still watching football or if I'd accidentally switched to kickboxing"  

 

Just like Netherlands - Portugal in 2006, although that was even way worse. Both teams deserved to be kicked out that shameful day in Nürnberg.

yes and it was a shame for football that even 1 of 2 of them reached the semifinals in that tournament

The battle for Nurnberg was awesome imo. Definitely a highlight of the greatest WC i've seen live  Last nights match was nothing like that.

Just walk next to Amsterdam Central Station and your lungs are filled with the smell of urine 

 

Luckily smaller towns don't really have this kind of hygiene issue one sees in bigger cities, so I'm fine where I am  

 

The people in this picture are obviously not the only ones and without any doubt people from basically all visiting countries in this whole event are doing the same, but they should all be ashamed of themselves. Pigs.

definitely, total crazy match, still remember thinking that both teams were gonna end up with 7 players left in the field hahaha

 

Only nice thing is that Portugal won and managed to get in a World Cup semi final after beating England AGAIN in penalties xD
