that's a shame. I think I told another Serbian user (in private message) that this guy is a decent wrestler.

btw just for info this guy is in fact Artas Sanaa from Russia. they stole him and changed his name to something Kazakh :d

Russia, USA almost everywhere  they have 4 wrestlers in medal round today and 3 in semifinals. the only defeat of USA today was against Russia at 65kg and for Russia it was 92kg against our Karimi. the team titile is indeed between those 2 countries. first day was great for Georgia but they have nobody in semifinal today, still 3 of their wrestlers are still alive and have chance for repechage. (hopefully only Khinch gets a second chance :d ) also not a good day for Turkey. Erdin and Demirtas were lucky with the draw yesterday (Demirtas didn't use that) and again Boke was lukcy today but lost it to Japan in last seconds. it seems Iran has a shot for 3rd place in team ranking. it will be between Iran, Georgia and Turkey. and maybe just maybe Azerbaijan.

we have 5 wrestlers today for afternoon session. despite some heartbreaking defeats our results were better than my expectations in general (of course except Yazdani's defeat) I wasn't expecting much from this team and most of our wrestlers got brutal draw. Atri, Maghsoudi, Hosseinkhani, Yazdani, Karimi and Hadi !! unblievable 6 out of 8 got brutal draw. only Yakhkeshi and Akbari got OK draw (still no easy but balanced) I know bad draw happens for everybody but for each team usually some of them get easy draw . for example for USA, they were very lucky with 57 and 125 or Turkey was lucky with 74, 86 and 92. Karimi, Maghsoudi, Hadi and Hosseinkhani got Olympic Champions in 1st or 2nd round.

great job by Bajrang defeating valdes in a narrow match to reach the finals of the 65Kg .....it will be against takuto so he has a reasonable chance for a gold ....... That would be third time in history we have an Indian in a world championship final ....... sushil won indias only gold in 2010 ........ also bajrang becomes the only Indian wrestler to win 2 wrestling medals at the world championship

since our wrestlers for tomorrow are weak and got brutal draw as usual. this is official now that after 13 years we won't have a wrestler in final in freestyle (ironically it happened in 2005 , again in Budapest) . very sad because we could have more than 2-3 wrestlers in the final. Akbari was leading 3-0 he had COMPLETE control over Hassanov, gave him no chance but then in last 30 seconds he gave up a pushout and TD lost it 3-3 ! and Karimi being brilliant in the morning made stupid mistake while the score was 2-2 and he was on top. easily let Cox to counter him and score and since then things got out of his hands.

now we will have 5 wrestlers in bronze medal match ! let's collect some bronze at least.

    • Zurich fend off Färjestad to claim European Club Champions title     Zurich defeat Färjestad to become CHL Champions Färjestad's inability to convert on special teams was costly Sven Andrighetto scored both goals for the Swiss     Sven Andrighetto scored twice, including the game-winner at 32:33, and Šimon Hrubec made 31 of 32 saves as ZSC Lions Zurich kept the European Trophy in Switzerland with a nail-biting 2-1 victory over Färjestad Karlstad.   The Swedes scored late to bring the game to within one, but a dominant defensive effort from the Swiss side helped secure their well-deserved win in the 2024/25 Champions Hockey League Final.   Both netminders were excellent through the first 20 minutes, but an opportune moment near the end of the frame enabled the Swiss to break the deadlock when Andrighetto slid a loose puck between the pads of Maxime Lagacé to open the scoring at 17:48.    Dario Trutmann threw the initial shot on net as the puck ricocheted off several players before finding its way to the top of the blue paint where Andrighetto deposited the loose change to secure his ninth of the year.   Then in the second, it was Andrighetto again as the 31-year-old extended his club's lead with seven and a half to go in the middle frame.   Play developed as Denis Malgin skated the puck through neutral ice before dropping it off for Rudolfs Balcers who quickly dished it to Andrighetto in the near circle where he one-timed it past the Färjestad netminder to make it 2-0 in favour of the hosts.   The Swiss continued to put on a defensive clinic in the second, mitigating the Swedes' offensive pressure and minimising their high-danger chances.   Hrubec managed to turn aside all 20 Färjestad shots through the first two periods to keep his club's advantage heading into the third.   Still trailing by two, the Swedes were awarded their fourth powerplay of the night when Zurich's Malgin was called for Boarding at 50:59 and would make good on the ensuing man-advantage thanks to Per Åslund's second of the season and first since his goal on Game Day 1.   Off the face-off win, the puck found its way to David Tomášek who slid it towards the stick of Åslund who was parked at the top of the crease where he redirected it past Hrubec with less than ten minutes to play in regulation.   Desperate to find the equaliser, Färjestad pulled their netminder in the closing moments but Zurich's defence, spearheaded by Hrubec, pulled through as the Swiss fought off the Swedes' last-ditch effort to claim victory and be crowned European Club Champions.
