Meanwhile in Argentina...

Please don't make another Slovakia-Slovenia out of this. :p

Ha, he is 30 years late. That guy has said worse things in the past. He's been the mayor of one the poorest towns in Bs As since forever and let's say he is not the brightest man on office. At least for the right stuff :p

Ukraine ambassador to Hungary threated the Hungarians. Hungarians find strategic peace only in their graves. Hungary will be the next. The cheap gas is more important to Hungary than the lives of the humans.

She said it from the safety of Hungary....

On the other side Hungary has good and cooperative relation with the governor of Zakarpattia. Hungary send fuel, food, baby care and hygienic products to Zakarpttia and the Ukranians guard our evacuation expeditions in Zakarpattia as much as they could.

And while they threated the minorities right for years:

There are no sanctions though? Or does he mean the special financial operation that has been going on?

They are safe thanks to China's 5 trillion+ forex reserves and sovereign wealth.

The hero of Friday night was undoubtedly this 11-year-old Ukrainian boy from Zaporozhie who arrived alone to the Slovak-Ukrainian border.

He carried only one plastic bag, a passport, and a number-contact written on his hand so that the police could connect with his family.

"The boy was immediately taken in by volunteers, who took him to the warmth and took care of him. They brought him food and drink, which they also packed for his next trip, "said the Slovak police. With his determination and a smile on his face, he won the hearts of all the people who rushed to his aid.

Collateral Damage.

Basketball player Brittney Griner reportedly detained in Russia; WNBA, representatives working 'to get her home'

WNBA player Brittney Griner is being detained in Russia after customs officials said they found hashish oil in her luggage at an airport near Moscow in February, according to a report in the New York Times on Saturday.

The Russian Federal Customs Service on Saturday alleged it searched luggage believed to belong to Griner and found vape cartridges that contained oil derived from cannabis -- a crime that carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. While Griner was not mentioned by name, the customs service identified the detained person as a player for the U.S. women's team but did not specify the date of her detainment.

Since Russia has clearly been sending mostly their 18-year old conscripts, who thought they'd go on a training mission, to the fronts in Ukraine, together with a massive bunch of old machinery, vehicles that fall apart out of misery and no fuel and food, maybe the serious Russian army is still waiting to defend against Japan? :d

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
    • Ya but the replacement is Pat Bondi, a choice that is only better in so far as Pat Bondi isn't credibly accused of having had sex with multiple underaged girls.   Also, you might recognize this name: Pete Hoekstra has been nominated to be the US ambasador to Canada.
    • Camila Giorgi has a new BF Ramiro Marra. Apparently he's some politician/journalist from Argentina. One of Milei's supporters dare I say? @LDOG@konig
    • Skeleton Tour moves on to Yanqing  this weekend.  Asian Cup races tomorrow, then the World Cup on Saturday, and then possibly more Asian Cup next weekend before everyone moves over to Altenberg for the start of the full Skeleton / Bobsleigh tour again.
    • 2-1.   But it's good to have a great champion in the squad. I've been waiting for this my whole life. I wish we had such stars in every sport.
    • But he beat Mouat, who seems to be almost unbeatable
    • Argentina has a really solid lineup, especially if they have prepared seriously for this event. Of course they don't have a champion like we do, but in this format it is enough to win 1 match to play the decisive doubles.
    • Today we must to beat Argentina. It looks like Sinner will have to win all the singles and doubles for us to defend the title. So far, the 2nd and 3rd favorites before the tournament have already been eliminated: Esp and USA.
