Thanks to yesterday's snowstorm, only four medals up for grab today. We are in a great position to win a medal in women's monobob and have an outside chance in women's aerials. The day is still eventful as it has the beginning stages for 2-men bobsled, women's slopestyle and both men's and women's snowboard big air along with the women's ice hockey semi-final.

Was I being too optimistic to think this would be a silver. Better than falling off the podium altogether but wracking up the bronze right now is getting a bit disheartening.

Her last run was not great and she came out of the start already behind.  A podium certainly wasn't certain in this event, so a bronze is fine. I'm more trying to ignore who got gold, and for which country.

De Bruin with bronze.

So heads rolled over the whole Humphries situation, right?

I get she’s not the most popular figure in Calgary but she’s far from the first athlete to complain that the Canadian bobsleigh setup is toxic.
