Josh 5,806 Posted April 8 #191 Share Posted April 8 With the Paris Olympics coming up, I decided to construct a list on potential athletes for our eventual Olympic squad for Paris. I’ll be doing my best to update some of the results from these athletes (if not already reported about) heading into the Canadian Olympic Trials. When the Canadian Olympic Trials are over and our Olympic squad is set, I’ll be doing the same thing for athletes heading into Paris. To make it easier for me I’m only including names that have had performances either in 2023 or 2024, which means that names like Knight and McBride are not on the list. Also, for SBs/PBs none of the races are short track or have wind above 2.0m/s. I might be missing a few names, let me know if I am. Last Sunday, Evan Dunfee placed 2nd in men’s 20km at the Podebrady Race Walking meet, recording a time of 1:18.41! 37 seconds outside of his PB which was set at last years World Championships, so he’s looking to be in fine form at the moment.
