Dick Pouhd calls for Russia be totally banned from the next three games. Anyone opposes it?

In principle I would not mind.

But as things stand now, Russia might start a war against the whole world in retaliation

Maybe they will launch missile strikes against Lausanne (where the IOC is located)

Montreal, Canada. But the International Testing agency is indeed in Lausanne (like the IOC)

Ah, well, much easier to get a nuclear sub to Montreal than to Lausanne (up the Rhône and get under this bridge at Geneva.

First ever summer games striped medal for GB also confirmed. Apparently it’s already been to CAS which means CAS are now doing hearings on known cases without people being aware.

Menawhile Okabare has not been to cas yet but she has 30 days to decide if she will. Wouldn’t be surprised if she does most dopers do nowadays.

    • We´ll see. anyway, I hope hope so.   It was her first career senior bout, maybe a bit too early, to be thrown in the lion´s den, but if all this will result in a medal in LA 28 I am all in

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
