One more SVK player in NHL. Michal Čajkovský signed tonight a deal with Carolina Hurricanes.

Now if he´ll succeed he should became the 96th Slovak player that played at least 1 NHL match.

Congrats and Good Luck Mišo ! :cheer:

Radim Vrbata and Scott Hartnell retired just before the start of the new season...

meanwhile, great show last night in Bern (SUI), where the New Jersey Devils led by the Swiss star Nico Hischier played an exhibition game against the local team, SC Bern, as part of the NHL Global Series 2018...

The Devils won the game by a score of 3-2 (after OT), but that's the least important part of the night...

Tomorrow it's the Edmonton Oilers' time to entertain some European fans, since they play in Cologne (GER) against the local team, Kölner Haie (puck drop @ 4 p.m. CET)...

  • 4 weeks later...

Brilliant night for the two Slovaks of Boston. Zdeno Chára scored 2 goals in the Bruins wins over Philadelphia 3-0, Jaroslav Halák marked another shut-out with 26/26 saves plus he assisted in Zdeno´s second goal :d Jaro was awarded the first star of the game, Zdeno the second :yes

Btw still No one mentioned that yet here, but last night Montreal set a new record, that will hardly beaten. In the NHL game Montreal scored 2 goals in 2 seconds against the Capitals. After Max Domi goal at 59:38, Washington pulled out their goalie. Then Danault won the face-off and Joel Armia send the puck to the empty net

    • Who wins today? Johaug and Klaebo???   No  or  flags on the start so i cheer for Jasmi Joensuu  she’s the girl to watch this season, mind my words
    • Sarcastically of course, cheering for the fact she basically received no punishment     Tennis and football are jokes in terms of combatting doping.
    • Excited as always   My main thought was "alright, only 18 countries in the women's race and apparently no wildcards for anyone, that's decent news"
